Who Should Attend?

This course is for physicians, residents and fellows who specialize in spine surgery and pain management.

Course Description

This cadaver workshop features two half-day hands-on cadaver labs demonstrating Percutaneous Endoscopic Cervical Discectomy (PECD) and Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy (PELD). Lectures from leading MISS surgeons will cover operating room setting, anesthesia, an introduction of instruments, anatomic considerations, anatomic indications, and surgical technique.

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Properly select candidates for the cervical and lumbar percutaneous discectomy procedures.
• Properly perform cervical and lumbar percutaneous discectomies.
