Course Description

This program will enable participants to:

  • Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of MIS vs. open procedures in the thoracic spine.
  • Recommend treatment options for cases of multi-level degenerative disease.
  • Explain the options for osteotomies in the cervico-thoracic and lumbar spine.
  • Discuss the indications, decision-making, and complication avoidance for AIS and adult spinal deformity.
  • Evaluate treatment options for the aging spine including osteoporosis and spinal stenosis
