Doctor David Polly is Professor and Chief of the Spine Service in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He is board certified and fellowship trained in spine surgery. Dr. Polly received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services of the University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He completed an internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Polly advanced his skills and experience through a Fellowship of the Spine program at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Polly is the recipient of many military and research honors and awards. He is an active member of many organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, North American Spine Society, Scoliosis Research Society, and Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons. His clinical interests include adult and pediatric spinal disorders, including scoliosis, tumors, and degenerative diseases.
