In addition, Dr. O'Brien has received academic honors and awards for his research.
Dr. O'Brien is a member of many prestigious societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Cervical Spine Research Society, North American Spine Society, Royal Society of Medicine, and Scoliosis Research Society.
The published research of Dr. O'Brien includes 14 book chapters and more than 20 journal articles. He has presented his research papers at more than 100 professional meetings.
